The way they feel about each other was apparent from the moment I met with them to discuss their wedding plans. Perfect Purple

Purple was definitely a favorite color for 2012 and it is looking like we will be seeing it a lot in 2013 as well. Purple is such a great option as a wedding color because it has so many shades, from lavender to plum, grape to eggplant. It is a color that can be elegant or casual.

Purple can be paired with many other colors as accents, such as greens, reds, oranges, and pinks. One of my favorite looks is using two or three different shades to give it depth and dimension, this is true for most colors! A popular combination this year was purple bridesmaids dresses and gray suits or tuxes for the groomsmen, such a sharp and classic look!

The shade you pick may be determined by the time of year your event is, brighter for spring and summer, dark for fall and winter.
